The power and torque produced by the methane engine are comparable to those of a standard production T7 Tractor. This means that the T7 Methane Power responds in exactly the same way and enables you to complete the same tasks before, just more sustainably and with a reduced operating cost.

T7 tractors have proven themselves across thousands of hours of work in countries around the world, developing a strong reputation for cost efficiency. When New Holland engineers designed the T7.270 Methane Power, they focused their efforts on durability attributes that targeted that same low total cost of ownership.

The T7.270 Methane Power is every bit as effective and efficient as the standard T7.270 tractor. That’s not only because its natural gas-powered engine puts in a performance equal to its dieselpowered equivalent, but because it also uses the same driveline. The proven New Holland Auto Command™ CVT transmission applies all of the power of this innovative powerplant at the most fuel-efficient engine speed for the work at hand. Add new front and upgraded rear axles, and you have a package of perfect matches.

The new Horizon™ Ultra cab has not become the quietest tractor cab in the industry by accident. From the start of the project protecting the driver from the external environment was centre of our engineers attention.

The T7.270 Methane Power has an impressive 45,600 lumens of lighting power available, but its not just more light bolted on. A pair of the rear cab corner lights are long range lights to pick out the extremity of a wide implement at night, while similar lights are positioned over the hood to illuminate down the field. Two configurable memories can have any lights assigned to them to quickly switch light patterns, from left to right for example when along side a Combine or Forager.

With a wide choice of driver’s seats complemented by Terraglide™ front axle suspension and either mechanical Comfort Ride™ or electrohydraulic Semi-Active Comfort Ride™ cab suspension, T7 Methane Power operators will find few tractors can compare when it comes to comfort. With Semi-Active Comfort Ride™, tractor acceleration and deceleration rates are constantly monitored and accounted for, and the operator can choose from three ride levels.

The 25 year evolution of the SideWinder™ continues. The new SideWinder Ultra armrest with fully configurable controls delivers a true jump on and drive experience, thanks to sophisticated features that are easy and intuitive to access and use. Throttle, transmission, hydraulics, draft, autoguidance. Everything you need to control is intuitively selected and ready to deliver.
