New Holland, PA (March 16, 2005) -
Building on the growing popularity of compact track loaders, New Holland has
added compact track loaders to its line of rugged construction
equipment. These new compact track loaders are available through
select New Holland agricultural equipment dealers.
In tough ground conditions, like soft or muddy ground or on slopes, compact track loaders are an excellent alternative to traditional skid steers. Compared to a skid steer equipped with tires or over-the-tire tracks, tracked loaders offer improved traction and flotation as well as a smoother ride.

The new LT185.B and LT190.B
compact track loader models feature 2,400 and 2,900 lbs.
rated operating capacity, respectively. Based on the
design of the popular New Holland Super Boom™ skid steers, both new models feature
the superior lift capacity and reach of the patented
Super Boom vertical lift linkage to deliver more
forward reach at maximum lift height for precise load
placement.
The wide stance, low center of gravity and superior stability combine with a standard suspension seat to provide a smooth ride, while the rugged, simple undercarriage design provides long life with minimum maintenance. New Holland compact track loaders also feature industry-leading visibility with no rear frame towers to block the operator's view.
Both models feature a standard two-speed transmission for travel speeds up to eight miles per hour. The optional hydraulic mount plate allows the operator to securely attach or remove buckets and attachments without leaving the seat. |
