NEW HOLLAND T6000 SERIES TRACTORS DELIVER PROVEN PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTIVITY

New Holland, PA (February 12, 2007) -  New Holland’s versatile mid-size T6000 Series tractors deliver outstanding power, performance and fuel economy. These 80- to 120-PTO hp tractors offer exceptional value with proven performance and dependability for dairy, livestock and row crop producers.

The new T6000 Series tractors feature a spacious, high-visibility cab, a choice of a rugged 2WD axle or four heavy-duty FWD axle choices, and fuel-efficient engines. They are available in a value-based “Delta” configuration as well as a feature-enhanced “Plus” configuration with optional productivity-boosting features.

Horizon™ cab provides quiet, comfortable environment

The new, ultra-quiet Horizon™ cab (standard on “Plus” models and optional on “Delta” models) offers class-leading visibility and comfort.

The cab is roomy and quiet with an interior sound level as low as 71dba. The cab has 63 sq. ft. of glass with an expansive windshield and full-glass doors to provide a clear sight line in any direction. For greater productivity when working with a loader, the high-visibility roof panel gives the operator a clear view of the bucket without straining.

T6020, T6030 and T6050 models are also available with an open ROPS platform.

Impressive loader capacity

T6000 Series tractors excel at loader work. In addition to the dedicated, column-mounted, left-hand shuttle, heavy-duty axles and the high-visibility roof panel on the cab, T6000 Series tractors have other features that boost loader productivity: dedicated hydraulic flow and an optional two- or three-slice mid-mount valve with seat-mounted joystick.

Quiet, reliable engines

The new 4- and 6-cylinder Tier 3 emissions-compliant engines on the T6000 Series are designed for long-term reliability and deliver plenty of power while operating quietly and fuel efficiently. The New Holland engines can be run on environmentally friendly B20 biodiesel (meeting ASTM 6751 standards) or traditional diesel fuel. They provide a torque rise reserve of up to 39% for challenging work in tough terrain or difficult conditions.

Four transmission choices

T6000 Series have a choice of four transmissions that deliver efficiency with minimal operator effort.

The 16 x 16 Autoshift™ transmission provides both in-the-field and on-the-road auto-shift modes with a programmable shift feature that allows the operator to select the point at which an automatic shift is performed to best match the job at hand. (“Plus” models only.)

The 16 x 16 Electroshift™ transmission provides four powershifts in each of four ranges – all controlled by a single lever – plus the convenience of clutchless range changes from speeds 4 to 5 and 12 to 13. (“Delta” and “Plus” models.)

The 24x24 Dual Command™ transmission with power shuttle doubles the speed choices with an underdrive gear for each forward and reverse gear. It allows operators to use a push button to make clutchless, on-the-move powershift changes in forward or reverse. (T6020 and T6030 “Delta” models only.).

The economical 12x12 Synchro Command™ transmission with mechanical shuttle offers four gears in each of three ranges. (T6020 and T6030 “Delta” models only.)

Creeper gear versions are available with all “Delta” and “Plus” transmission choices for slow speed applications.

Five front-axle choices

The new T6000 Series tractor series offers a range of front axles for nearly any job and condition, from field work with haytools or row crop implements to loader work or other farm chores. Choices include a rugged 2WD axle (except on the T6070 model) or one of four heavy-duty FWD axles.

T6000 Series tractors are available with a conventional FWD axle with a limited-slip differential, or the optional New Holland’s TerraLock™ FWD system for greater traction, operator convenience and productivity.

TerraLock combines fully automatic FWD with front and rear differential lock engagement for improved power-to-ground performance by automatically engaging and disengaging FWD and four-wheel diff lock depending on steering angle, forward speed, and hitch and brake application. Terralock is standard on two optional FWD axles: the SuperSteer™ and TerraGlide™ axles.

New Holland’s exclusive, tight-turning SuperSteer front axle provides a best-in-class 65° of total turn angle for faster headland turns and unmatched maneuverability in tight places. T6000 Series tractors equipped with the SuperSteer front axle have a four-inch longer wheelbase for a more comfortable, smoother ride.

Self-leveling TerraGlide suspended FWD axle provides four inches of suspension travel for improved safety, comfort and traction with up to 5% more pulling power at the drawbar.

The optional Fast Steer™ steering system is available on “Plus” FWD models. When engaged, Fast Steer allows a full right- or left-hand turn by moving the steering wheel just 10°. Especially helpful in loader and row crop applications, Fast Steer reduces wheel turns for increased productivity and reduced operator fatigue.
