New Holland, PA (July 30, 2007) - New Holland, the worldwide leader in haytools, is offering the industry-leading extended protection plan for new and used New Holland round balers. The New Holland Flexible Protection Plan provides owners new BR-A Series round balers and certified used BR and BR-A Series round balers with peace of mind by providing protection for a variety of components beyond the standard manufacturer’s base warranty period.
New Holland round baler owners with units still within the base warranty period can customize their plans with deductible options ranging from $0 to $500, and terms from 24 to 36 months, to meet their specific needs and budgets. A New Holland Flexible Protection Plan purchased within the base warranty period can be transferred to a new owner with no fee, helping to maximize the equipment’s resale value.
For new BR-A Series round balers, two levels of protection are available. The “Silver” plan provides protection for the computer, density system, electric actuators and motors, hydraulic cylinders, main gear box, monitor and other components. The “Platinum” plan also provides additional protection for rolls and the wide pickup stuffer shaft.
Certified used New Holland BR and BR-A Series round balers are also eligible for a special New Holland Certified Flexible Protection Plan. To qualify as a New Holland Certified baler, a used BR or BR-A round baler must pass a comprehensive 105-point inspection. The Certified Protection Plan for balers outside of the base warranty period provides 12 months of protection for additional peace of mind when purchasing a New Holland Certified baler.
