100,000TH NEW HOLLAND BOOMER™ TRACTOR ROLLS OFF ASSEMBLY LINE IN DUBLIN, GEORGIA

New Holland, PA (April 11, 2004) - The 100,000th New Holland Boomer™ compact tractor emerged from the Dublin Manufacturing Operations facility amid cheers from the employees who assembled the tractor. Also honored were ten current employees who were among the original workforce that assembled the first New Holland compact tractors at Dublin.

Compact tractors comprise the fastest-growing segment of the tractor market. To accommodate growing compact tractor sales, the Dublin facility was placed into operation in 1996 to assemble and ship New Holland compact tractors. Previously, New Holland compact tractors had been assembled and shipped from Japan.

On a global basis, there are more New Holland tractors sold than any other brand. New Holland’s popular line of Boomer compact tractors range from 18-hp to 55-hp, and feature a stylish sloped hood, exceptional lighting and industry-leading exclusive features such as the tight-turning SuperSteer™ front axle and Sensitrak™ automatic FWD engagement. The 100,000th Boomer tractor is a 40- horsepower TC40DA model with four-wheel drive and automatic transmission.

The Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority originally built the Dublin Manufacturing Operations facility in 1994 to attract industry to the town. In 1996, the facility began assembling New Holland compact tractors with 29 employees. The plant currently employs approximately 100 individuals and assembles tractors that are shipped throughout the world.

The ten individuals who were involved with both the first compact tractor assembled at the Dublin Manufacturing Operation, as well as the 100,000th  Boomer unit, are:
