Quick Chocolate Caramel Cake
Doris Plume, Elkton, Virginia
- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 1 jar caramel sundae topping
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 bowl whipped cream

Prepare cake according to directions and bake
in a 9X13-in. pan. As soon as you take the cake out of the oven,
punch holes in the top with a straw and pour both
caramel and condensed milk over it. Cool and serve
with whipped cream.

Steak and Potato Bake
Iva Kaufman, Monroe, Wisconsin
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 6 Tblsp. butter
- 4 cubed steaks
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 Tblsp. chopped parsley
- 4 cups thinly sliced raw potatoes

Saute onions in butter until tender. Remove. Brown
meat in same skillet. Remove. To drippings add flour,
salt, pepper, and mustard, stirring to blend. Remove
from heat and gradually stir in buttermilk. Return
to heat and cook until thickened. Stir in parsley.
In a buttered 9X13-in. pan layer potatoes, steaks, and
onions. Pour sauce over meat. Cover tightly with
foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour 15 min.

Parmesan Salad
Esther Beachy, Millersburg, Ohio
- 1 (15 oz.) can white corn
- 1 (15 oz.) can baby peas
- 1 (15 oz.) can French style green beans
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced red peppers or pimientos
Dressing:
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup white vinegar
- Salad Supreme Parmesan seasoning

Heat dressing ingredients to dissolve sugar. Cool.
Add 1 Tblsp. Salad Supreme Parmesan seasoning. Drain
vegetables and mix with dressing. Add salt to taste.
Marinate 24 hours. Drain to serve.
