Approval and Commitment
New Holland, the first agricultural equipment brand to embrace fully the potential of biodiesel, has the broadest commitment in the industry to the use of biodiesel.
New Holland supports the use of:
- 100% biodiesel (B100) in all equipment with New Holland manufactured diesel engines, including electronic injection engines with common rail technology. See biodiesel compatibility chart for model details.
- 5% biodiesel (B5) in all past New Holland engines.
New Holland has asked other suppliers of diesel engines used in New Holland branded products to test and approve higher blends of biodiesel.
Biodiesel must always conform to North American ASTM D6751 or European EN14214 European standards. New Holland’s intensive testing program is proceeding with the objective of supporting 100% biodiesel on all products in the near future.
