Fully-articulated frame (Models 163/169) hugs ground contours so tines handle all the crop without mixing soil into the hay.

Heavy-duty rotors driven by durable gearboxes (Model 157) provide reliability at fast tedding speeds.

Digidrive multi-finger couplings (Models 163/169) are virtually maintenance free, offering high resistance to wear and eliminating open universal joints. All handle heavy, rain-dampened crops without problems.

Hydraulic fold is available on Model 163, for added convenience.

Slip clutch helps protect against damage from obstructions in the field.

Handy crank lets you fine-tune the tine height in seconds without tools.

Rake tedder: two in one

For more flexibility, take a look at the two-in-one capabilities of the New Holland Model 255 rake tedder. The "255" teds, turns windrows, rakes a swath into a windrow, or rakes two windrows together. And, you don't need tools to switch from one operation to another.

As a tedder:

  • Spread, swath or windrow so crops dry down faster.
  • Tailor your tedding operations to a variety of crops and conditions by varying PTO speed or tine position.
  • Fixed-tine position provides aggressive tedding and is ideal for use in fresh-cut material or crops where leaf and shatter losses are not a concern.
  • Cam-operated tine position allows the tine bar rollers to follow the cam track to lift and release crop gently and save valuable leaves.

As a rake:

  • Telescoping frame design lets you adjust raking width from 10 feet 6 inches to 13 feet 1½ inch.
  • Precise raking action of the Model 255 produces fluffy, uniform windrows that dry evenly.
  • Self-centering wheels provide extra maneuverability by allowing you to make sharp turns and back up easily without lifting the machine.

Strong, rugged frame provides years of dependable performance.

Rotor tilt can be adjusted easily with a convenient crank for maximum crop handling.

Torque limiting clutch on the heavy-duty PTO provides overload protection. PTO speed is variable, so you can match ground speed and PTO speed to crop and field conditions.

Three wheel-height positions let you adjust for different crops, conditions and operations.

Vertical tines pick up fewer stones and less debris than horizontal tines for cleaner tedding and raking.

Cam track adjustment allows you to quickly tailor tedding/raking action to varying crops and conditions without tools.

Convenient jack simplifies three-point hitch arrangement.
