Fingertip control

When you're in the CX cab, you're in a position of complete control. All the controls you need are all within fingertip reach, so there's no need to stretch. And, all the information you could want is available at a glance. Everything is designed to give you maximum control with minimum effort.

The armrest/control console to your right gives you fingertip access to all cutting, feeding, threshing, separating and cleaning system controls. Controls are arranged so that you can rest your elbow on the armrest and simply pivot your forearm to reach all controls.

Exclusive! Shifting through a CX four-speed transmission is as simple as rotating a dial.

The new Multi-Function lever controls your travel direction, your speed, and gives you thumb control of header height, reel speed, vertical and horizontal reel position, unloading auger engagement, unloading tube swing, automatic header height, return to cut plus a quick stop button.

Yellow buttons engage the header drive and threshing systems. When engaged, the engine rpm adjusts to 1500 rpm. To disengage the systems, press down on the top of the buttons.

Toggle switches allow you to control cylinder speed, fan speed and concave clearance. The speeds and clearances are shown on the InfoView™ monitor.

Optional toggle switches for the upper chaffer and lower cleaning sieves allow you to make on-the-go adjustments from the cab (not available on the CX840 Small Grain Standard model). You view the settings on the InfoView monitor.

Push-button crop settings allow you to quickly adjust the combine for different crops with the flip of a switch.

Indicators and warning lights on the right-hand cab post keep you informed. They include a shaft speed monitor, coolant temperature bar graph, fuel level bar graph and lights that warn you when the parking brake is on, the grain tank is open (when equipped with grain tank covers), or if the unloading tube is out.

The exclusive InfoView monitor allows you to quickly check:

  • Ground speed
  • Threshing cylinder speed
  • Header height
  • Engine rpm
  • Engine load
  • Straw walker performance
  • Sieve performance
  • Return elevator
  • Vital engine and operational functions
  • More

The InfoView monitor screen can be positioned exactly where you want it using an infinitely adjustable arm.

The main control keypad for the InfoView monitor is conveniently located on the right-hand console.

The InfoView programming keypad is located under the flip-up right armrest.

The InfoView intuitive onboard diagnostics reduce the downtime and labor involved in trouble-shooting service issues.

  • A field/road mode switch provides an extra measure of safety by disabling select harvesting functions while travelling on the road.
