Affiliate Membership Program
NCBA & New Holland "Partnering for Success"

"Membership is the lifeline of any association. For over 100 years, cattlemen have worked together through NCBA on the efforts that directly influence our way of life. The more our society moves away from rural America the more important these efforts become. When the industry is facing tough decisions, all producers need to come to the table so the best possible option is chosen. NCBA provides a venue for producers to come together, make decisions and develop policy on the issues that directly impact our bottom-line."

Mark Nelson, NCBA Membership Chairman and Wilton, California Angus Producer

"This award is an opportunity to enhance our state and national membership programs. It is a pleasure to be rewarded by such a well-known company. The dedication of New Holland and NCBA to our members goes a long way in recruiting new members."

Joel Brinkmeyer, Executive Vice President. Iowa Cattlemen’s Association

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) is a producer-directed organization working with some 50 affiliate partners representing state cattlemen and cattle breed associations to preserve the heritage and insure the future of the beef industry.

State affiliates are powered by dedicated beef producers who proactively display their support for the beef industry, whether it be grilling beef at local and state events, sponsoring market outlook meetings, or assisting their state organization to influence legislative and regulatory matters affecting their
industry.

To help the State affiliates promote membership growth, New Holland is partnering with the NCBA on a program to recognize the affiliates who have outstanding performance in supporting NCBA membership. To this end, New Holland recently awarded one-year leases on two round balers to two NCBA affiliates – Montana and Iowa.

The Montana Stock Growers Association won a year’s use of a baler for its performance in the category of “increasing membership revenue over the previous year”.

The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association won for its performance in the category of “increasing NCBA membership numbers” over the previous year.

The Iowa and Montana affiliates won the balers after their names were selected in a random drawing from a list of all affiliates that increased NCBA membership revenue or numbers over the previous year.

All states should be commended for their excellent performance. New Holland takes great pride in the connection it has established with the industry and joins the NCBA in thanking their State affiliates for their dedication and support.

“Winning this award and the use of the New Holland baler is exciting. The increase in our NCBA membership revenue is proof that our state’s cattlemen and women see value in being part of the nation’s largest, most influential association working on behalf of the cow-calf producer. It is also proof of the quality partnerships developed between our organizations and supporting agricultural businesses like New Holland.”

John Swanz, President, Montana Stockgrowers Association
