Best-in-class pulling power New TG tractors offer more horsepower than everup to 240 PTO hpto pull larger implements. The six-cylinder, turbocharged, 8.3-liter TG engines also deliver more lugging power than other tractors in their class. An industry-leading 55% PTO torque rise and up to 30 PTO hp power growth means TG engines actually increase horsepower when the going gets tough. On the TG255 and TG285, fuel delivery is electronically controlled to increase fuel economy and increase torque response at low engine speeds. Best-in-class three-point lift TG tractors also provide the highest lift capacityup to 17,900 pounds with the increased three-point-hitch lift optionto harness the productivity of the largest implements on the market. Dynamic Ride ControlTM hydraulically adjusts the three-point hitch to cushion the load of heavy, mounted implements to improve control during transport. Best-in-class hydraulic flow The standard TG hydraulic system delivers 38 gallons per minute (gpm). The optional MegaFlowTM system adds an additional 29.4-gpm pressure/flow compensated piston pump to the standard TG hydraulic system, increasing total flow to 68 gallons per minute -- more gallons than any competitor for more efficient operation of high-demand implements like air seeders and beet lifters. These two pumps provide two separate circuits to simultaneously operate two systems: a low-flow/high-pressure system like an orbital motor from one remote, and a high-flow/low-pressure system from another. Electrohydraulic remote valves are standard and provide the convenience of in-cab flow control and readouts. Sharper turns With New Hollands exclusive, improved SuperSteer FWD axle, the tractor can make a simple U-turn at the headland, even with an eight-row planter on 30-inch rows. It delivers the kind of maneuverability that saves time every day. Smooth out the bumps For an ultra-smooth ride on the roughest ground, TG tractor can be equipped with the optional TerraGlide suspended FWD axle. The TerraGlide axle provides over four inches of travel, to keep the front tires in contact with the ground on any terrain and even at the 25 mph maximum transport speed. This reduces the vibration and shocks that reach the cab, and improves stability, traction and steering control. More cab room The TG cab is the most spacious cab in the industry, and it offers unmatched visibility. Over 68 square feet of glass (the most glass on any cab in the industry) provides an excellent view in all directions. The narrow, sloped hood makes it easy to see down to the rows, while the ample rear-opening window makes it easy to see to the back, simplifying implement hookup. The TG cab is a functional, comfortable workspace. The large workstation can hold a laptop computer and a spacious shelf behind the seat provides additional space for coolers, tools, and gloves. There are also plenty of outlets and mounting brackets for phones, radios and monitors. For the ultimate in riding comfort, the new AutoComfortTM seat suspension utilizes a sensor to continuously monitor vehicle ride and automatically control the seat shock absorber to provide the most comfortable ride based on the terrain. Convenient controls TG controls, including the transmission lever, throttle and hydraulic remotes, are located at the end of the right-hand armrest. The controls travel with the seat so theyre always at the perfect position. The transmission lever for the 18x4 full powershift transmission allows you to move smoothly through the gears without clutching. The standard right-hand power shuttle makes changing direction as simple as moving the control lever forward and back. You can even program the forward and reverse gears to match your needs. Information at a glance With TG tractors, theres no need to look down at the console to get the information you want. Simply shift your eyes slightly to the right and you have all the critical tractor information you need, including engine speed, ground speed, gear selection, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level. Maintenance made easy New Holland tractors are the easiest to service in the industry, and the TG tractor continues that tradition. You complete daily servicing at one central location where you can easily check engine oil, hydraulic oil, engine coolant and fill the fuel tank. All from the groundall without opening doors or pulling panels. For full access to the radiator and engine, the TG hood flips open. Extended service intervals make service checks less frequent. When it comes to troubleshooting, New Holland TG tractors are state-of-the-art. New Holland dealers are specially trained in the use of a laptop Electronic Service Tool to perform diagnostics quicklyright in the field for fast repair and reduced downtime.
Smart hydraulics. On the two largest models, the TM175 and TM190, optional fully programmable electro-hyrdraulics allow the operator to adjust the timing and flow to each of the remotes. Smart transmissions. The TM Power Command full powershift and Range Command semi-powershift transmissions provide automatic shifting in the field and on the road, as well as a programmable forward/reverse shuttle. Smart headland turns. The all-new, exclusive New Holland Headland Management System allows the operator to program up to three functions, then simply hit instant replay each time when arriving at the end of the row. (Models TM175 and TM190 only.) Productivity and performance features Standard equipment on all TM tractors with FWD, the TerraLock system offers the convenience of fully automatic FWD and front and rear differential lock engagement. The result: full-drive capability through all four wheels for more positive traction. On 2WD models, a semi-automatic system is standard. New Holland TM tractors lead the industry with a three-point lift capacity of up to 19,260 pounds to handle heavy implements like no-till planters and rollover plows with ease. The Electrolink electronic draft control system lets you dial in the perfect blend of position and draft you need for automatic linkage control. With Electrolink, you control drop rate, height limit, position/draft sensitivity and slip limit. Draft sensitivity isnt available on some competitive tractors, but on the TM, its standard equipment. Four front axle options are available: 2WD, FWD, the exclusive TerraGlide suspended FWD axle or the exclusive SuperSteer FWD axle. No matter which axle, TM tractors have the tightest overall turning diameter in the industry. Easy access coupled with long service intervals reduces prep time. Routine checks can be completed without opening the hood, and there are no doors or panels to remove. TerraGlide suspended front axle smoothes out rough spots and maintains maximum traction, stability and control in any terrain. The system works to keep the front tires in contact with the groundon any terrain and even at high speeds. This reduces the vibration and shocks and improves traction and control Roomy, two-door cab features lots of glass for an unobstructed view. The TMs sloped hood makes it easy to see down to the rows and to the front axle. For a smoother ride, the Comfort Ride cab suspension is standard on the TM175 and TM190 and optional on all other models. A New Holland exclusive, the Comfort Ride suspension smoothes out bumps and minimizes driveline vibrations up to 20%. |
